Axolotl Effect

Axolotl Effect is a 3D puzzle platformer through time. You play as Adhoby, a loyal citizen determined to revive his dying civilisation of axolotls.

Hopes and Dreams Engine

The custom game engine powering Axolotl Effect, written in C++ with custom-built rendering, scripting, and entity component systems (ECS).

Role & Responsibilities

My Role

Technical Lead + Game Engine 3D Computer Graphics Programmer

  • Lead the technical team to develop the game Axolotl Effect and its custom engine Hopes and Dreams Engine in C#/C++.
  • Developed the engine's 3D animation system using OpenGL.
  • Worked in a team of 11 using GitHub for source control and the Agile Methodology for project management.
